Shafiq Lokhandwala - CEO/President

As CEO, Shafiq defines the NuView “Vision”. His passion and enthusiasm for HR technology keeps the staff energetic and motivated towards success, while fostering an open work environment, where every employee has input towards creating the path for company's success.

An Electronics and Communication Engineer, Shafiq started a successful software company in India at age 23, where he developed and sold travel agent software and financial accounting packages, giving him his early entrepreneurial start.

Arriving in the United States, he joined Five Technology ( NJ) as a product design engineer, where he helped to design and implement a HRIS system for hundreds of companies. After five years of HR design experience, he founded NuView Systems, Inc. in April 1994.

Under his stewardship, NuView released HR: Expert Suite! in January 1995, followed by the first Web Native HRIS, called MyHRIS, in January of 1999. NuView’s next generation product suite, NuViewHR, recognized as the complete and flexible HRIS in the industry, was introduced in 2005.

From the very first days, Shafiq put together an organization that focused on Enabling Business Strategy through HR Technology. Shafiq has grown revenues and generated profits for NuView in each successive year.

Today, NuView supports over 325 clients, and helps global organizations manage over a quarter of a million “lives” through the NuViewHR and Payroll product suite.
