Job Description
Seeking a talented Junior Level Software Project Engineer to perform tasks related to the configuration and implementation of our web-native HRIS product suite. Candidates should have excellent technical, problem solving and communication skills.
Project Engineers work as the liaison between the client, internal Project Managers and internal Development Group, translating client needs into configured product under tight deadlines.

Primary Duties
Configuring the system (security, hierarchy, rules, workflows, exports, interfaces, reports)
Create customizations for clients
Data conversions (imports, data mapping, testing, manipulation, custom translations)
Support internal Project Manager requests for assistance
Development of PM tools to assist with implementations
Documentation of custom work
Provide work estimates to support the development effort
Detailed Responsibilities
Customization process includes tracking the customization through completion, discussing needs, writing functional and technical specifications, testing and managing time to meet strict deadlines.
Client interaction is necessary to obtain information, ensure adequate testing and gain client approval.

     Technical Knowledge/Skills
SQL - ability to write simple to moderate scripts
Relational databases

Computer Skills (Programming, Software background)
MS Office (Word, Excel)
Technical writing/documentation background

Education
Requires a Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
