NuView Systems, Inc. was founded by Shafiq Lokhandwala ( President ) and Randall Ratsch (CTO), in April 1994. Both shared an extensive background in HRIS development, support and implementation prior to the establishment of the company.
We are privately held and all profits are reinvested in product development and staff. Our initial product, HR Expert! Suite, released in 1995, was widely adapted by customers who wanted to replace spreadsheets and manual processes and automate the Benefit Administration process. Always at the forefront, NuView Systems was quick to realize the popularity and power of the Internet as an information collection and delivery vehicle for HR services.
In 1999, NuView introduced the MyHRIS product line, one of the very first web-native HR software suites. This product line won a Top 10 HR Products award from HR Executive magazine and industry acclaim from clients and analysts.
In March 2005, NuView released its next generation product suite, NuViewHR, which provided expanded functionality, comprehensive toolkit for customizations and global capabilities.
In January of 2006, Gartner, Inc. placed NuView Systems in the “Visionaries Quadrant” of its Magic Quadrant for U.S. Midmarket Human Resource Management Systems. According to the Gartner Study, visionaries are defined as vendors that have a strong vision for delivering an HRMS solution. They are distinguished by the openness and flexibility of their application architectures. A visionary vendor may have demonstrated some outstanding technology vision, go-to-market strategy, or differentiating functionality/service.
In October of 2007, NuView acquired Cort Payroll Software, of Bend, Oregon, to broaden its offerings and respond to changing market conditions, which needed a robust payroll engine to handle complex payroll processing.
Today, NuView Systems, Inc. is a recognized leader in Human Resources Management Software to meet the ever-changing needs and challenges of busy HR departments. NuView clients APCO Worldwide and Cincom Systems both won International Stevie Awards for “Best HR Team” and “Best Executive”, respectively, in large part due to the implementation and leverage of NuView’s HR suite across the enterprise.
