From The CEO

2011 has come to an end and we start 2012 with renewed energy. I am more excited about the future than any time in the past.  With the maturing of new technologies, it is time once again to accelerate innovation into our products.  We are generating a product roadmap that connects and communicates with employees and managers; continuing on our mission of building HR technology that enables business strategy.  In this column I’d like to share with you our achievements in 2011 and our plans for 2012.

In my report late last summer we wrote about the progress we had made in our departments.   The four prong program we had adopted to increase Client Satisfaction, Service Efficiencies, Product Quality and Growth affected each department.  We created a balanced scorecard that monitored the progress of specific measures that mapped to these objectives. Since then our continued focus has resulted in the hiring of a new Chief Operating Officer Ken Bero who joined us in November 2011.  With increased focus on client deliverables, the existing processes have been analyzed for efficiency, accountability and communication of all team members across support, implementation services and engineering departments.  This process has resulted in better internal coordination that is reducing the time it takes to deliver client needs from inception to final delivery.  The upgrade department saw a big increase in productivity and NuView processed more upgrades at a faster rate than any year before.  It is also a matter of pride that NuView is capable of delivering functional upgrades at lower cost than any of our principal competitors.

2011 was a year of creating robustness in our existing delivered modules.  New releases featured extensions to modules that had been released.  Security and back end scalability were high on the agenda to prepare NuView to take on more clients and deliver value at a rapid rate. NuViewHR was translated into 18 languages and the concept of country packs for international implementations was introduced.  Eight country packs are in the newest release of NuViewHR 4.16 slated to be available for upgrades by March 1, 2012. It was also a year where NuView employees worked hard together, across continents and started to see the result of effective teamwork.

2012 is going to be a year that focuses on a better UI, for HR and self service functionality. It will be a year where the innovation that is a part of our DNA will reassert itself and new releases will focus on enhancing the user experience on newer devices.  The focus on process efficiencies will continue and changes that have been made and new ones coming will be continue to enhance our clients’ experience.  We will continue to add country packs to support our clients’ international populations.  We opened a brand new office in London, UK on Jan 16, 2012, headed by Stefania Dragojlovic, a long time employee to add local implementation services for our clients in Europe.

I look forward to meeting you all at the next NuView Network conference in September!
