The following position is available:
The Project Manager will be responsible for and participate in the planning and execution of implementing HRIS software applications purchased by the organization’s clients. Payroll and Human Resource knowledge a must; as well as experience with HRIS and payroll solutions. CPP, PHR, or SPHR certification a plus.
- Ensures that the implementation plan is executed effectively and efficiently by participating in the implementation process while maintaining focus on the mission-critical value of not only meeting client expectations, but, in fact, exceeding them
- Assists in developing strategic solutions for challenges that might arise during implementation, based on thorough analyses of the client’s business goals/challenges
- Acts as a liaison between clients and NuView staff ensuring a smooth communication flow
- Operationalize the plan (including but not limited to) by:
- Providing effective communication systems to effectively manage incoming customer support calls to ensure accurate and prompt customer service
- Providing for the training of new and existing clients on product applications ensuring complete customer understanding and satisfaction
- Providing for the development, proofreading and editing of relevant, required written materials, which include but are not limited to: including system overview summaries, on-line help screens and product documentation booklets
- Providing feedback on existing policies and procedures from a quality improvement perspective, suggesting changes when necessary, to streamline operational/business inconsistencies that might otherwise impact the ability to provide superior client service
- Handles additional duties and special projects as assigned
- Technical and/or operational skills/experience:
- Previous work experience with computer software development and/or support
- Payroll and human resources experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Windows-based software packages (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) required. Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
- Proficiency with Internet applications required
- Basic knowledge of HRIS/Integrated solutions
- HTML experience and comfort with data structures is preferred. Knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL, or other programming language is also a plus
- General Management skills/experience:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Studies problems from an in-depth perspective
- Collects and analyzes appropriate data/information as part of the decision-making process
- Demonstrates ability to understand the global impact of decisions made
- Must be a detail-oriented, self-starting individual who can work in a small company environment with minimal supervision
- Effective project management skills, including leveraging technology to optimize project planning activities; project planning certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% is required
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- CPP, PHR, or SPHR certification a plus
